Building to resident to client change

ISDRR worked for the International Institute for Environment Development, London, to carry out primary research to assess the contribution of India’s flagship Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) as how it builds and strengthens the resilience of rural households to different climate shocks. This report provides evidence for global policymakers on how to integrate climate risk management into social protection provision and combine and layer risk management instruments to address poverty in the context of climate change.
